Armand "KALI" Perry, a native of the Bay Area of California, began his career as a musician when he first picked up the saxophone for the first time at the ripe age of 10 years old. "That's when I knew that music was my passion." In very recent years, KALI made the move from Oakland, California to Atlanta, Ga, the land of Black Empowerment .
"When I moved to Georgia, I encountered the smartest woman I've ever met in my entire life. She taught me how I can generate revenue through my recording sessions and turn it into a real business." Taking a leap of faith with the direction and support of Dyniecia "Queen" Barnes, KALI launched KALIKO Music Production LLC, with business partner TREMAXOUT late fall of 2019.

QUEEN of KALIKO
Dyniecia ‘Queen' Barnes, Atlanta Ga native, is a computer systems specialist turned hair stylist turned artist turned associate engineer for KALIKO Music Production. Her mother sang in the choir of a local church and her father is a connoisseur of Jazz, R&B, Blues and Rock. She grew up in a home filled with music. As a North Atlanta Performing Arts student her cultural repertoire was expanded from dance to drama and chorus. “Music has always been a significant part of my life. I learned to love all types of music as a dancer. Music has gotten through some very tough times in my life. I never thought it would ever be something that I did. The journey has been awesome.”
Under the mentorship of KALIKO Engineers Kali and Roc Steady, Dyniecia as quickly risen through the ranks as an associate engineer. Influenced by the amazing talents surrounding her and relentless encouragement by Kali, she is now one of KALIKO's newest. artists as "Queen". Although a novice to the music industry her talents are a force to be reckoned with.
ES'MAH
Mahogany ‘Es’Mah’ Maraston, born and raised in Kansas City, MO, has been singing since the age of 5. At five years of age she made her first $5 singing on a bus stop in Shreveport, Ms. "It was then i decided i was going to be a singer, fashion designer and actress." says the Neo Soul Artist. "Well only one is still on my list today, singer 😆. Es'Mah has performed with various choirs, as well as two multicultural ensembles "I've always been a music junkie. I love whatever speaks to my heart."
For the last five years of a 23 year career in the music industry, Es'Mah has been writing and devoting more time to the recording studio. A fan of R&B, Pop, Hip Hop, Jazz and Country, she's inspired by some very influential artists such as Laylah Hathaway, Silk, Blackstreet, Jazmine Sullivan, Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliot, Bobby Blue Band, AWB, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Dave Hollister and Anita Baker. That's just to name a few. Es'Mah has finally come into her own and found her sound. Becoming Es'Mah was a journey of trials, triumphs, extreme lows and amazing highs, fostering confidence in her abilities as a writer, lyricist, vocalist and one of our favorite recording artists, as well as an ambassador of KALIKO Music Production.
ERIC BROWN
Eric ‘Roc Steady’ Brown, also a Kansas City, MO native, boasts his production and musical artistry loudly. His father put him in front of a piano as a baby and he's been playing ever since. “Music has always played a big role in my life.” He says. Roc Steady has numerous records under his belt as an up and coming producer. Producing music behind the scenes for big names such as, T-Pain, Dj Khaled, and Gucci Mane, to name a few.
Roc steady’s unresting diligence and hard work is finally paying off for him, linking up with KALIKO Music Production. His production team brings some of the hottest beats and songs in the game right now! His musical talents are second to none. Do not sleep him! His musical influences are Dr. Dre, Timbaland, and Zaytoven.
